About Fifa 13 :D

Fifa 13 is a game about soccer. You can go to career mode and either be a player or a manager. I usually play Manager Mode. When you are the manager, you can choose the team you want to manage. In the process of managing the team, you can buy new players or sell any of your original players. I like to use FC Barcelona in manager mode as they have the most money and the best players. With more money, I can buy more good players and put them in my team.
I also watch Fifa 13 on YouTube.
There is a guy called JJ, on YouTube, his username/page name is ksiolajidebt. He is a very good player and his skills are fantastic.

Games I like to play! :)

I like to play Fifa 13 and Blackshot.

Blackshot is a online shooting game created by Garena. There are a few gamemodes in BlackShot. They are Team Deathmatch, Team Flagmatch, Search & Destroy and Bunker Defence. I like Search & Destroy the most because you can only spawn once per game. This will result in a fairer game as it is just like real life, once you die, you die.

Major learning points of HTML.

1. HTML stands for HyperTextMarkupLanguage. It is the main language for creating web sites.

2. This is the basic skeleton of how u write out a HTML script.

3. There are many different types of codes and commands we can add in to change the way the words look and its layout. CSS allows you to make the text nicer and the website more decorated and colourful.

4. A HTML script created using notepad can be opened as a website. However, you must be using the computer in which you saved the notepad file into.

Web 2.0

Web 2.0 is an advanced version of Web 1.0. For web 1.0, only the creator of the page/ page manager is able to post, edit or comment on the page itself. However, in Web 2.0, we are able to share videos, games, images, etc. with other people. It allows people to interact with one another more on the web.

What graphics formats are used on the Web?

The 5 types of graphics formats people most commonly use on the internet are BMP, JPEG, PNG, GIF and TIFF.

What are plug-ins?

I found out that plug-ins extend the capability of a browser eg. Google Chrome, Mozilla firefox etc.

How does an e-mail message travel?
1. Using e-mail software, you create and send messages.
2.Your software contacts software on your ISP’s outgoing mail server
3.Software on outgoing mail server determines best route for data and sends message, which travels along Internet routers to recipient’s incoming mail server.
4.When recipient uses e-mail software to check for e-mail messages, the message transfers from incoming mail server to recipient’s computer.

What is Netiquette?
It is the code of acceptable behaviors users should follow while on the Internet

What is Internet Telephony?
It is something that enables users to speak to other users over the Internet using their computers.

What is Virtual Reality?
Use of computers to simulate real or imagined environment

What is streaming audio?
It is the process of transferring audio in a continuous and even flow.

What is URL?
It stands for Uniform Resource Locator. It is an unique address for a Web page.

What is a subject director?
Search tool with organized set of topics and subtopics

What is a Link?
Built-in connection to another related Web page location.

Internet and the World Wide Web

On the first lesson of Infocomm Studies in term 2, our Infocomm teacher gave us an assignment. This assignment was to make a presentation about our given topic. We were split into groups according to our register numbers. Our topics were "Search Engines" and "Graphic Formats used on the internet".
